Timothy F. Mazzara, Esq. is a co-founding member of the firm and heads the personal injury insurance defense litigation unit. Tim has more than 35 years of experience defending those who have been sued in personal injury lawsuits and representing insurance carriers in litigation and coverage matters. He has successfully defended individuals, corporations, businesses and insurance carriers in a wide variety of personal injury cases, often involving catastrophic injuries. He has concentrated his practice on personal injury litigation and his broad experience includes the defense of lawsuits involving construction accidents, defective products, motor vehicle accidents, premises accidents, municipal liability, wrongful death and property damage as well as insurance coverage disputes. He has numerous successful jury trials and verdicts to his credit. He also has a highly successful record at the appellate level, and a number of cases in which he has prevailed have been cited by the courts and by other attorneys. His attention to detail and relentless efforts to provide high quality legal services have earned him top marks in client satisfaction. In addition, he has a record of success representing injured persons in select cases and has recovered millions of dollars for them. Tim is a Member of the CLM ™ Claims and Litigation Management Alliance, the Nassau-Suffolk Trial Lawyers Association and of the Suffolk County Bar Association. He is a former Co-Chair of the Insurance and Negligence Defense Committee  of the Suffolk County Bar Association. He has lectured to insurance carriers on various personal injury defense issues. He is admitted to practice in New York State and in the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Southern and Northern Districts of New York.
