Miron v. Wainscott Farms, Inc., et al,

Jury Trial, Suffolk County Supreme Court,  May 2019 before Judge George Nolan.

This case involved a 2-vehicle collision at an intersection. The plaintiff was a passenger in the co-defendant’s vehicle and sustained multiple injuries. We got the claims against our clients dismissed on a motion for summary judgment. The appellate court reinstated the co-defendants’ cross-claims against our clients so we took the case to trial. At trial the co-defendants argued that our client caused the accident. Tim Mazzara successfully argued to the jury that the co-defendant driver was 100% responsible for the accident and the claims against our clients were dismissed. The plaintiff was later awarded damages against the co-defendant of over $1 million.
